Five members of the BeneFIT Corporate Wellness team will be making presentations at the National Wellness Conference 2017, June 19 through 21 in St. Paul, Minn. This year’s theme, “Cultivating Cultures that Flourish: Foundations and Innovations in Wellness Promotion,” provides a unique opportunity to share and develop BeneFIT’s approach, which addresses the physical, social, occupational, intellectual and emotional aspects of health and how to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary, not just to prevent disease, but to actually promote wellness. The NWC is a one-of-a-kind event where wellness professionals from varied settings participate in research-based and best-practices learning opportunities and intensive skill-building programs. Carol Michaels, MPH, MCHES, Administrator, Care Coordination, will be joined by BeneFIT’s Director of Health Promotion and Wellness, Kristin Behler, MPH, MCHES; and Health Coach Kacie Heilman Miller, CHWC, ACSF HFS.
