Allentown, PA – October 20, 2015 –  an Allentown, PA based population health management and analytics firm, has recently appointed Allison Yudt to Director, Value Based Contracting for Lehigh Valley Health Network and Chief of Staff for Populytics. In her new role, Allie will be responsible for overseeing the facilitation, implementation and performance of value-based contracts for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and the Lehigh Valley Physician Hospital Organization (LVPHO). Additionally, Allie will be coordinating the Lehigh Valley Physician Group’s (LVPG) activities in the value-based contracting space.

In order to support the strategic direction of Populytics, Allie will also contribute to the development, coordination and administration of policies, services, and programs. She will also directly support Populytics president and CEO, Gregory Kile, by serving as a key member of the Populytics executive staff, responsible for the central coordination of activities (operations and planning) and ensuring timely flow of information to and from the chief executive office.

Allie came to Populytics with impressive qualifications. She served as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, working for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to implement key provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). Previously Allie was a Research Assistant at The Miller Center of Public Affairs where she assisted the State Health Care Cost Containment Commission. She researched issues related to cost containment, including private and public data collection efforts and alternative payment strategies to the traditional fee-for-service model. This research culminated in a report titled “Cracking the Code on Health Care Costs,” which was published in January 2014. As a Research Consultant and Analyst for the Lewin Group’s Federal Health Market, Allie gained consulting and proposal development experience while working for a number of agencies within the US Department of Health and Human Services as well as a number of pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and private foundations. Specifically she worked directly with CMS staff in the Office of the Medicare Ombudsman (OMO) regarding the impact of receiving hospital observation services on Medicare beneficiaries. In addition she provided health policy guidance for Senator Toomey’s 2010 U.S. Senate campaign.

Allie earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management and Policy from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Public Policy from The University of Virginia.
