Populytics, Inc., leading health care data analytics and population health management firm, and a subsidiary of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), is proud to announce its President and CEO Gregory Kile was named to the 2022 “Power 100 List” presented by local news publication Lehigh Valley Business. The Power List, selected by LVB’s editorial team, showcases people in Pennsylvania who are leading key organizations, creating change, impacting the community, and engaging others to succeed. LVB’s website reports, “These are the business leaders, CEOs, lawyers, public servants, and elected officials that others listen to and want to emulate. They make decisions that impact the economy and they inspire success and spark innovation.”
This is the second year in a row – last year being the inaugural year for the recognition – that Kile was honored. He has long been active in the community in both the health care and insurance sectors.
Kile founded Populytics on the premise of specialty analytics and informatics that would deliver usable information physicians and other medical providers can act upon. Through this insightful data combined with efficient care coordination, high-risk patients can be identified and helped before becoming seriously ill. Patients can also be assisted after discharge from the hospital to avoid readmissions. At the same time, data is used to spot efficiencies and opportunities for waste reduction, which can potentially bend the cost curve for patients and employers.
“Data was the foundation of our company, but its potential just keeps growing,” says Kile, who was also one of the founders of Valley Preferred, the physician organization affiliated with Lehigh Valley Health Network. “Through data, we have since forged incredibly useful collaborations with payers as well as the physicians and providers who deliver care to patients. This makes it possible to impact how insurance contracts are written, the quality of care administered to patients, avenues for employee well-being, and alternatives for health care management. Ultimately, it’s about ensuring individuals and their families are getting the best possible health care at the highest value.”
During COVID-19, Kile was instrumental in the leadership team that mobilized and consolidated well-being and occupational health services to meet the critical needs of employers, colleges, school districts, and universities. These included testing, return-to-work evaluations, medical directorship, mental health counseling, and health coaching.
The Power 100 List honorees will be featured at LVB.com, in the LVB newspaper, and promoted on all of LVB’s social media channels and through email marketing. The lists publish throughout the year, kicking off with the Power 100 list then featuring category lists every other month.
