Georgine Miller, PhD, LPC


Georgine was born in Allentown and has lived in the Lehigh Valley most of her adult life. She originally earned a degree in education from Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA, before returning there for a Master of Counseling. She worked for 20-plus years counseling in agencies, including some time at Preferred EAP, before returning to school at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, to earn a Ph.D. in educational psychology. Since then Georgine has supervised other counselors and continued to work with people in distress with both substance abuse and mental health problems. In 2013, she returned to work part-time at Preferred EAP while pursuing a private practice and artistic interests. She works with all kinds of issues at Preferred EAP and enjoys collaborating with clients to help them find support and solutions.
