Weight Management
With obesity’s link to chronic disease and emotional health, it can greatly impact work performance. We designed our weight management program, Worth the Weight, to focus on nutrition education as well as cognitive awareness of food-related behavior.
A Shift in Perspective
Built on personal choice, our program gets to the root cause of unhealthy eating practices through self-exploration. Instead of calorie counting or following special menus, we encourage employees to share life experiences, make discoveries through their feelings, and tackle weight management in a new, more sustainable way.
Here's What Weight Management Includes:
A cognitive-based program means improved overall health.
-
Developed by a registered dietitian
-
Interactive sessions with an engaging workbook
-
Eight weekly one-hour group sessions
-
Group communication and interaction
-
Regular surveys to highlight achievements for each employee
-
BeneFIT Health Coaching to support behavior change
Health Coaching
You can keep the momentum going through BeneFIT's Health Coaching program. Certified health coaches follow up with employees in Worth the Weight for one year to reinforce all that was gained during the program and to promote growth and self-exploration.
